This morning’s sunrise is a bit of a milestone. I just packed up my laptop and my time at Elastic has come to an end. Last month I decided I wanted to take a break and that break starts today.
I’ll probably be bored to death and looking for a job before long, but my goal is to spend 2024 knocking out stuff I’ve been putting off, re-engaging some sorely neglected hobbies, and shaping what what I want to do next in my head.
For now, I’ve dusted off this old blog and I’ll be using it as a chronicle of what I do with my 2024 break.
